Water and Recreational Injuries
Water and other recreational activities are supposed to be fun. They are also supposed to be reasonably safe.
Unfortunately, many facilities and activity operators cut corners when it comes to safety even when the risk of injury or death is severe. Fences around pools are not constructed according to code. Scuba diving and river tours are not supervised under industry standards. Warnings signs are not posted. Safety equipment is inadequate or not provided.
These cases require in-depth industry expertise, and often present serious legal challenges. But for decades, we have represented clients who have been seriously injured or killed by the negligence of facility and activity operators, and landowners. We have impacted and enforced laws that make enjoyable activities safe.
